Drew Dasso is the newest addition to the Architects Smith Metzger team. Drew grew up in Rock Island and attended the University of Illinois where he graduated with a Masters of Architecture in 2010.  He will be married this July and is excited about making Des Moines his home.

Drew joins the team as a LEED accredited professional and shares a passion for sustainable design. Therefore, Architects Smith Metzger continues to claim 100% of our professional staff is LEED accredited professionals waiting to serve you on your next project.

Growing up along the Mississippi River, Drew witnessed firsthand the destruction caused by periodic flooding of the downtown area of Davenport. Consequently he decided to focus on how Davenport could withstand future flooding in his master’s thesis titled “Controlling the Great Mississippi; An Interactive Flood Prevention Plan for the City of Davenport.” You can read more at www.controlthemississippi.com
