Bank Iowa, West Des Moines
The design had to make the statement that this new bank was part of the community and for the community. Even the drive leading to the drive-up tellers was placed 70 feet from the building to allow easy building expansion.
The interior maximizes the customer’s awareness of services and products by leading the customer past loan and financial services offices to the teller area. Comments include, “The bank feels warm and inviting” to “…very different from other banks.”
